The American Animal Hospital Association is a voluntary group in North American that inspects and accredits small animal hospitals by a rigorous set of requirements and goals.  This includes the physical facility, the medical equipment, the staff, the record keeping, the continuing education and client communications.  In short, everything that it takes to be sure the pets coming to that facility can be expected to get the finest care possible.  We are proud to say that we have now passed inspection and joined this group of AAHA accredited hospitals and see this as one more way to assure our clients we are always striving to do the best we can for your friends.

USDA Accreditation allows our veterinarians to write health certificates for interstate and international travel.  If you need those services, especially for international travel, be sure to check well ahead of time with the destination country. That government's offices should be contacted to ensure all paper work needed is available to process in a timely manner.

All our veterinarians are licensed biennially by the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board after completing at least 15 credit hours per year of continuing education.

In addition all veterinarians in the practice are members of the national American Veterinary Medical Association, the state Ohio Veterinary Medical Association and our local Columbus Academy of Veterinary Medicine.  These groups inform us and keep us active in the issues confronting veterinarians at these different organizational levels.
