With great regret we inform you of the passing of Fuego, our clinic cat. He became very ill and we had to let him go. Being a stray we never really knew how old he was, but we cherish the time he spent with us.
Aimee joined the Indian Creek Veterinary Hospital in June of 2000. She began her journey with us as a receptionist but quickly became an in-house trained technician. In 2005 she created the Office Manager Position. Aimee's main passions are working closely with the animals and developing relationships with our clients, but she enjoys all aspects of the business. Aimee has also taken a special interest in communication, education and public relations. In September of 2011 she founded a verterinary management group, inviting local veterinary practice managers to work in collaberation and support one another by sharing ideas and experiences.
Aimee has owned, fostered, rehabilitated and worked with a variety of species. She has worked closely with several rescue groups and exotic sanctuaries. Over the years, Aimee's home and heart have been occupied by various wildlife, dogs, cats, fish, parrots, rabbits, and a variety of "pocket-pets" and reptiles. She shares her interests, enthusiasm for learning, adoration of animals and love for life with her two children.
Alicia has been with us since January 2015. She graduated from Columbus State Community College with a degree in technical science in 2007. She received her licensure that same year, but has been in the Veterinary field since 2004. She was married in 2010 to her husband Jake who was an active duty soldier stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. Alicia had the opportunity of living and working in Alaska for 3 years. She moved back to the local area when her husband's contract was complete because it was too far away from family. She started working at the Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center at Dublin as a surgical technician. She got to experience many different surgical procedures and some surgical advances, but the work was difficult to continue with her growing family. She currently has one son named Everett, a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Rizzo, two cats named Bryan and Elvis, and multiple fish. Her hobbies include spending time with friends and family, shooting at the range where her husband works, doing crafts with her son, and anything else that gets them outside. Alicia's specific duties at Indian Creek are hospital inventory manager and lead Veterinary Technician.
